Sci-Tech Mini-Maker Faire

Monday, April 28, 2014

Thank you to everyone who came out over the April 26-27 weekend to attend the Sci-Tech Mini-Maker Faire.

Such a fun weekend, so many talented people!   I hope you all (or in Texas y'all) had as much fun as we did!

First of all, a huge Thank You to the staff and volunteers of the Frisco Sci-Tech Discovery Center (http://www.mindstretchingfun.org/).   Always there to ask if there was anything they could do, anything they could get us.

And for everyone else, Thank You from our hearts!  It was so much fun seeing all the different ages (both male and female) interested in Embroidery!

Dallas MakerSpace has asked me to teach Embroidery for anyone interested (and it may be two sessions - one for adults, one for kids).  Please watch this site, or the Dallas MakerSpace page (http://dallasmakerspace.org/?gclid=CKzPp5m2g74CFS9p7Aod9i4AWg) for updates on training schedule.

As many of you saw, we are actively preparing costumes for WorldCon in London (http://www.loncon3.org/) so, classes may not happen until after August!
